God’s handwriting

Never lose an opportunity
of seeing anything that is beautiful,
for beauty is God’s handwriting–a wayside sacrament.
Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky,
in every flower, and thank God for it
as a cup of blessing.

–Ralph Waldo Emerson
(1803 – 1882)

  1. nice site. Love the quotes and images. Are these images public domain or yours? I’d like to use some.

    • A few of the images are mine. Most are public domain. I have tried to identify sources where possible. You are welcome to use them.

      • Your name looks German. My birth name is Scholz. Are you in Germany?

      • Oops, sent you an email about your name, and saw that you are a Canadian, not German. Are you still a missionary in Bolivia?

      • Yes, I am. Born in Germany, grew up in Canada, work in Bolivia.

  2. Is there a particular place where you find these public domain images? And are your marked with your name so I can identify which are yours?
